Here's what I pulled in our box of 2011 Topps Chrome Baseball.

Base Cards and Parallels;

Topps Chrome has to be one of the best looking sets every year and this year was no exception. The base cards have a classy chrome design. The paralells are great looking as well. I pulled a handful of refractors including the Ryan Braun. I also got a gold paralell of Nelson Cruz numbered out of 50 and a blue paralell of Grady Sizemore numbered out of 199. One of the best looking cards out of the whole box had to be the Rickie Weeks Xfractor.

Rookie Cards and Parallels;

The rookies have same design as the base cards but have a small RC symbol on them.

Insert Cards;

There were just a few inserts in this set. The Topps Heritage Inserts were really cool looking. Two of the ones I got were the Jason Heyward and the Aroldis Chapman. The other insert set we got was the 1996 Vintage Chrome. This featured the 1996 Chrome design. Joey Votto was one of players we received.

Hits;

I pulled two hits out of the box. They were both on card autos. Each box contains (2). We received Alex Cobb and J.P. Arencibia which is a refractor and is numbered out of /499.

Final Thoughts on 2011 Topps Series Two Baseball;

I think this is a great product from Topps. They have a very slick design and the value is excellent. It is about $60 retail for a Hobby box and the fact that you are guarenteed two autos per box makes it well worth the price. I would highly recommend this product.
Here's how I would rate this product;
  • Value = 5
  • Innovation = 5
  • Fun and Experience = 4
  • Rebuy Value = 5

I rate this product an "A" for Topps!

I would like to Topps along with Trader Retreat for giving me the chance to review this new product.

I love the 2011 Topps product so like always the Chrome set just takes it to another level. The autos look great. I don't buy many chrome products because you don't get many for your money but I just might have to get me some Tigers on the secondary market. Thanks for the review!
