All Time Favorite Baseball movies?

Name one---your all time favorite baseball movie.

This would be hard for me ---there are so many great ones.

Field of Dreams--i like it for the fact that even though not the real players it brings back names of guys I can wish I had seen wear a uniform in a live game.

The Rookie: I like that one cause it is a true story--and I met Jim Morris in Detroit when he was with Tampa Bay.

Billy Crystals 61--not a yankees fan but still a baseball movie.

Ferris Buellers day off--not sure why it is considered a baseball movie outside of being at a game in Wrigley field but for some reason it gets lumped in.

Eight men out---1919 scandal of the Black Sox. Interesting movie on how some of the players were treated after the series was over.

At any rate many more not mentioned. Do you have a favorite one?

Of the ones you mentioned I like: FIELD OF DREAMS & THE ROOKIE. EIGHT MEN OUT is okay, from a history view point, but overall isn't very interesting.

Other baseball movies I like include - A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, THE NATURAL, BULL DURHAM, THE BAD NEWS BEARS, MAJOR LEAGUE, THE PRIDE OF THE YANKEES, & FEAR STRIKES OUT. There are probably others, but these are the only ones popping into my mind right now.

Eight Men Out and The Boy from Cleveland were my two favorites.

The Sandlot, another fun movie
The Rookie, to me was a good one.
