The Twins have agreed to trade Johan Santana to the NY Mets in exchange for pitcher Phil Humber,outfielder Carlos Gomez and two minor leaguers.NY and Santana are working on a contract extension

Never saw this one coming as in to the Mets but it keeps Johan from beating the Twins in the AL. Huge pick up for the Mets.

I believe if my eyes were not mistaken that the Mets and Johan agree on a six year deal worth 137.5 million dollars. One thing comes to mind---thank goodness my team won't have to face him for awhile.
