Tony LaRussa retires
I didn't really see this one coming but what a way to go out with a World Championship. Tony retired with the third most all time wins for a manager!!!

Classy guy. I still think that he covered too much for McGwire and Canseco in the beginning. He does have a great baseball mind!! To be successful with three different teams (White Sox, A's and Cards) is tough to do, and does definitely show his talent.

Definitely one of the great baseball minds when it comes to coaching.. The cardinals will miss him in the dug-out.. Who do you guys think will replace him?
