Default Press Pass and Joey Logano Deliver Big Wins

Charlotte, N.C. – NASCAR rookie phenom Joey Logano made history on Sunday by becoming the youngest winner ever in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. The 19-year old Logano drove the #20 Home Depot Toyota to victory in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on June 28th. In July, Press Pass and Logano will team up to deliver big wins for collectors with the premiere edition of two new brands.

Press Pass Series 2 will release on July 8th and feature exclusive gold edition Press Pass Autographs (exclusive to Press Pass Series 2) as well as a retail exclusive red edition #’d to 10. An outstanding race-used memorabilia lineup consists of Tread Marks autographed race-used tire cards (#’d to 10),
2009 Daytona 500 race-used tire cards, and Four Wide multi-swatch cards (#’d to 50).

On July 15th Press Pass Showcase will make its debut and feature nothing but the top names in NASCAR’s elite Sprint Cup Series. The most upscale release in the history of NASCAR trading cards at $225 SRP per 3-pack box, Showcase will deliver one autograph plus two race-used memorabilia cards of the sport’s premier drivers. There will be no shortage of “Sliced Bread” (Joey’s nickname, as in, "the greatest thing since ... ") in Showcase. His featured card will be the short-printed Premier Prospects rookie card which is an autographed, race-used firesuit card. There will be four levels that are differentiated by foil stamp color, sequential numbering, and firesuit swatch:

1st Gear – Silver Foil - #’d to 100 (solid firesuit swatch)
2nd Gear – Gold Foil - #’d to 50 (multi-colored firesuit swatch)
3rd Gear – Green Foil - #’d to 25 (Home Depot patches)
4th Gear – Melting Foil - #’d to 5 (Raybestos Rookie patch)

Additionally, Showcase will feature four levels of Elite Exhibit Ink autographs of Logano and other NASCAR superstars. In addition to his autographed base cards, memorabilia cards include Elite Exhibit, Prized Pieces, Classic Collections, and Four Wide versions that are exclusive to Showcase (tire #’d to 25, sheet metal #’d to 10). “With wins in NASCAR’s top two series, Joey has reached the next level,” said Tom Farrell, VP of Brand Management for Press Pass. “His already hot collectibles, should heat up like the Daytona pavement in July.” Collectors can find Sprint Cup rookie cards of Logano in all 2009 Press Pass and Wheels brand releases.
