ouch that had to hurt---reminds me of the 1984 World Series game 2 in San Diego. Lance Parrish calls for a pitch out and Aurelio Lopez decided to throw a fast ball right down the middle of the plate....visualize this your catcher is standing out of position waiting for a pitch out and your pitcher groves one down the middle----the batter takes the pitch well really the ump took the pitch right in the belly (although this was funny) the video in here was not so funny but just the things that run through my brain.
For what it is worth the pitch in the W.S. was called a strike in more ways than one.
