Illegals, who making the money?
They werer hundreds arrested in Immigration Raids at Poultry Plants.
News coming out of Cowboys country. There was more than 290 people arrested at Pilgrim's Pride poultry plants in West Virginia and four other states that are raids tied into immigration and identity theft.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say Wednesday's raids were part of a long-term investigation. Texas-based Pilgrim's Pride says it cooperated fully and faces no charges. Not sure how this happens, weren't they employed at these places. Or are they charging the managers doing the hiring?
More than 100 people were arrested on immigration violations in Moorefield (W.Va.) and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Immigration officials weren't able give an immediate breakdown on how many people were arrested at Pilgrim's Pride's two plants in West Virginia.
More arrests were also made at plants in Arkansas, Florida and Texas.
In Buffalo on Wednesday, a New York businessman and 10 associates were charged with employing illegal Mexican immigrants in restaurants in West Virginia and three other states. Two restaurant managers in West Virginia were arrested: Alberto Antimo of New Martinsville and Alejandro Garcia of Wheeling.
Forty-five illegal immigrants also were arrested in Wheeling and New Martinsville, western New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Somewhere someone is making money off of these illegals. Do you think they were hurt by these raids? I don't believe so. Lots illegals can live in houses jam packed with people. Sometimes as much as 10 people in a 12' x 12' room.
Why aren't our politicians doing more? You want to know why, I will tell you why. The Hispanic voting base have huge pull, that's why.
